Networking is about making connections and building enduring, mutually beneficial relationships. We are constantly bombarded by advertisements, emails and other marketing tools, but most business is done on a trust basis.
Through years of professional networking within the real estate industry, and community service through local and national non-profit organizations, school and neighborhood groups, I have earned a high level of trust from people with whom I share information. Your property receives my ongoing one-on-one endorsement through my networking opportunities.
1. Networking Within Dave Perry-Miller Real Estate
Perfectly positioned to reach buyers North and South, East and West, Dave Perry-Miller Real Estate is one of the most active sources for spreading the word about your property. Company-wide email access and all-company notices reach out to every agent daily, announcing each new listing.
2. Networking Globally
Dave Perry-Miller Real Estate is an honored member of an exclusive network of the most prestigious independent real estate companies across the globe, Leading Real Estate Companies of the World. This consortium of experts sells more residential real estate than any of the national real estate companies, while still allowing the individual independent companies to provide hands-on service in their areas of expertise. Your property will be featured on the LRECW website as well as on WorldProperties.com and on the largest real estate website in the world, Realtor.com.
3. Networking Within Realtor Alliance
I am one of the founders of this strong networking organization, which provides face-to-face opportunities to share information about listings with member agents representing many firms and areas, to encourage showings, to discuss buyer needs, and to increase our ability to find a match between our buyers and sellers.
4. Networking With Other Realtor Organizations
The MetroTex Association of Realtors is comprised of over 1,800 firms, 2,800 offices, and more than 12,000 Realtors who have many opportunities to interrelate….at Realtor events, participation in MetroTex-sponsored Realtor organizations, clubs and committees, and attendance in ongoing Realtor education classes and business seminars. Our main focus is always, of course, our clients.
I am a member of our local MetroTex Association of Realtors, serving on the Government Affairs Committee, which interviews candidates for local, state and national offices, and helps shape our response as Realtors to various issues that arise locally and nationally. We work proactively to promote and protect home ownership rights and cost savings for homeowners. This enables me to inform my clients and sphere of influence of any potential issues that may affect their decision-making.
I have served on the Nominating Committee for the Board of the MetroTex Association, which serves Dallas, Hunt, Rockwall, Kaufman, Van Zandt and Northeast Tarrant Counties. I am also a graduate of the Association’s Leadership Program. My involvement in these committees has greatly expanded my sphere of influence with area Realtors.
5. Networking Within My Community
As a Dallas homeowner for many years, I have strong ties to the communities in which I have lived, including Park Cities, Lake Highlands, and Preston Hollow.
I have been active within my neighborhood for many years…advertising in the membership directory, sponsoring a yearly party for the neighborhood, and serving on the Board of Directors for our neighborhood association, for which I currently serve as Special At-Large Board Member, and have previously served as President and Secretary. I am also currently Precinct Chairman for Precinct 2007.
